Spring High School Wrap-Up

Joe, Willie and Derek talk with JW during rain delay at State Conference Champion:      Max VanderWyst Player of the Year:      Derek Fiestadt 1st Team: Derek Fiestadt, Max VanderWyst, Willie Wittman, Erich Norenberg 2nd Team: Henry Mulvey, Alex Thomsen, John Coenen, Trent Schmidt  Flyway 1st Team:    Alec Captained his team to a second place finish at State State Tournament Results John Weyenberg and Tyler Prickette tied for 3rd individually in D-2. The Kaukauna, St. Mary's Springs, and Xavier teams were able to qualify for the WIAA State Tournament.  Appleton East's John Coenen and Trent Schmidt also qualified as individuals, as did Neenah's Eric Mootz. Xavier finished 2nd in D-2, and St. Mary's Springs finished 2nd in D-3. The best individual finishes were posted by Xavier's John Weyenberg and Tyler Prickette, who shot 7-over 151 to tie for 3rd.  Willie Wittman finished 11th in Division I.   All State and All-Area Recognitions Max VanderWyst was named the Post-Crescent's All-Area Player of the Year.
