Dear Carolyn,
For the past several years, Steve and I have been hosting a spring break trip to Port St. Lucie for individual players and families. If you enjoy: practicing under the lights, playing 18 holes, night golf, swimming, the beach and hanging with friends and family (did I mention warm weather), then you might consider coming along!
Parents (grandparents)and siblings are definitely welcomed to join us. We have accomodations for individuals as well as families. We will make tee-times for anyone and everyone who is interested in playing. For those who do not golf, the beach is 20 minutes away, theme parks in Orlando are two hours north, and the PGA complex has tennis courts, pools and work out facilities. The St Lucie Mets may still be in town as well. Really looking for adventure: the Loxahatchee River canoe trip is a blast if you don't disturb the gators...
We are sending this out so those interested might start looking for airline deals. Players coming as individuals need to find a flight into West Palm Beach. A shuttle service is available to bring you to the PGA complex where you will stay and play all week. Families that are thinking about renting a car, might check Allegiant Air from Appleton into Orlando for good rates.
You may be wondering about the different weeks. Steve and I have found that each school district has a different Easter/Spring break. Not wanting to leave anyone out, we have decided that hosting families for two consecutive weeks works well. As well, there may be some crossover time as families and individuals look for the most economical travel arrangements.
We have a wonderful time each year as your hosts. Come join us and create some family memories that will last forever! Please feel free to contact us with any questions. 920-858-0388
